My Favorite Soap!

One of the most common questions I'm asked at my shows is "What is your favorite soap?" It's almost like asking which child is your favorite! Well, almost!

I have so much fun making my creations that everytime I make a new one, that becomes my favorite! In the fragrance oils, I would have to say I am most partial to Rayne's Garden. I love the Lemongrass and Ginger blend and no matter how hard I try to duplicate that on the essential oil side, I can't quite match it!! Although, I am trying very, very hard!! It has that unique balance of Ginger and the not so overpowering scent of the Lemongrass that brings the combination together. It's quite lovely and my customers seem to agree as it is quite popular at shows! With this soap, I have infused Calendula petals for it's moisturizing and healing qualities and then tossed in some poppy seeds for unique exfoliation.

On the essential oil side, well, that is more difficult as these are blends that I have created. I enjoy sitting at my table and starting out with drops of different essential oils and let them meld for days, weeks and months to see how they react with one another. Then, I'll add another drop or two of another essential oil into the blend to see if that added or detracted from the original blend. I also look into what I'm trying to create. Do I want these essential oils to help with acne, dry skin, poison ivy, eczema. All these go into what I'm trying to blend or if I'm just looking for something that's uplifing and pleasing. Once I decide the direction I'm looking for I gather the essential oils I think I might want to use and whittle down to those I want to try. It's an ardous process as I try several different blends before I come upon the one that strikes my fancy.

Also, each of my essential oil soaps are created differently in their recipe makeup from my fragrant oil soaps. Being that they are 100% natural, I like to play around with them more. I like to add Evening Primrose or Kukui Nut, more Shea or Mango to the mix. When you buy my Essential Oil bars you are getting something that was really thought out.

So, I would have to say that all of my Essential Oil soaps are my favorites! I can't just pick one of those from my Shampoo and Shaving bars to my Jewel of the Rayne to the newest Rayne's Embrace!! I love them all and I know you will too!!! Come see for yourself http://www.aftertherayne.com/essentialoilsoaps.htm
